About this wine
This Tempranillo brings cherry, plum and strawberry to the table, with vanilla and custard to round off the perfect crumble. There is just a hint of acidity and tannin at the finish reminding you this is wine, not dessert, but you'll be forgiven for going for seconds.
The wine is fermented in American and French oak barrels - what does that mean? I hear you ask. Well, Tempranillo loves a little oak. It gives the grapes a chance to show off a little with deeper cedar notes. On this occasion it's just enough to put an extra smile on an already happy face.

The name Alceo means Perseus, the Greek hero who wasn't very nice to Medusa in Clash of the Titans. There are no clashes to be seen here though, only heroes.
