About this wine
The very best Pinot Noir brings light fruit notes straight away, and the Distant Noises doesn't disappoint. Cherry, raspberry and lime abound, and the extra time in the barrel adds a slight dark chocolate to the finish.
Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula is a synonym of really excellent wine, so to find it at this price is very special indeed. The secret is the grapes are grown in the hills above the peninsula, with all the good stuff, and not of the land price inflation. It's so good that you'd be hard pressed to find a better burgundy anywhere near it's price.

Have you heard of Distant Noises? Either you have the hearing of a bat, and might need to get that checked, or you've com across the amazing work that Tom Carson is doing in the Yarra Valley. Not content with making some of the best Chardonnay coming out of Australia, Tom has been applying his magic to the Distant Noises series to create well priced, exceptional wines.
The Yarra Valley makes some of Australia's best wines, so the challenge Tom took on in creating the series was to make incredible wines at a price that meant you can enjoy them now, and not worry about your pocket. Combining specially selected growers and grapes with his renowned process of winemaking, the result is exactly as intended.
