About this wine
We can already tell that this new kid on the block is gonna be the most popular kid in school. With loads of flavour, character and style, what's not to love about this spicy treat from the Côtes de Roussillon?
You mightn't be all that familiar with the wines from the Côtes de Roussillon, but the region produces wines that you'd very much expect from the South of France. Loads of sun and cooling sea breezes help produce healthy ripe fruit that retains it's acidity. So the result is quality wine that is fresh, flavoursome and worth checking out. We're pretty confident that you're gonna enjoy it.
What makes it so great/grape?
Produced in Côtes de Roussillon, France
From a combination of Chalk, granite and schist soils, you're getting a wine that is elegant, refined and complex. There's a lot of interest and whether you know nothing about wine or are a seasoned professional, you'll be able to work out pretty quickly how enjoyable a glass of this is.
After a long maceration of 5 weeks in open top barrels, the Immortelle is aged on full lees in one year old French oak barrels from Château Margaux. That's right, you heard us. CHÂTEAU MARGAUX. Mega barrels for a mega wine.
