About this wine
A gorgeous new addition to Vintner, this is a lightly coloured but devastatingly flavoursome red that'll transport you to Greece in a heartbeat.
Made with very little winemaker intervention, this enticing Greek red showcases what 15-25 year old vines can do with a little guidance and a whole lot of sun. You'll be a bit shocked by how light in colour this is (think Pinot Noir or Nebbiolo) but after just one sip you'll be head over heels with the rich, dark fruit, tobacco and olive flavours that make this the perfect little savoury treat.

What Makes It So Grape?
100%
Xinomavros
Produced in Macedonia, Greece
The Thymiopoulos family have been growing grapes in the Naoussa region of Greek Macedonia for generations.
Having studied oenology in Athens, Apostolos returned home and in 2003 he commenced production, with his first vintage released in 2005. Over time Apostolos has increased the family vineyard holdings, whilst still maintaining the same low-intervention approach to viticulture of the previous generations.
