About this wine
When it comes to rosé, if it's pale pink and hails from the south of France, chances are that it's going to be spot on. Our Côtes de Thau rosé is no exception and like the best examples, one sip is all it takes for you to be transported to the Côte d'Azur where the waters are warm and the sun always shines.
Speaking of sun, it's starting to shine and that means it's time to dust of your picnic blanket, pick up whatever snacks you can, grab a chilled bottle of rosé and sprint to your local park. Perfectly suited to a lazed afternoon in the rays, this is textural and silky with bright acidity and loads of fresh fruits. Think charcuterie boards and summer salads and you'll be on the right track. An excellent all-rounder, the only thing this will leave you wanting is another glass (or bottle).

Produced in Languedoc, France
Crafted by the skilful winemaking team at Maison Boutinot, the grapes are sourced from vineyards nearer to Lake Thau (which, FYI, was formerly a volcanic region). The team pick the grapes early in the morning to help preserve a lot of the fresh acidity and begin vinification in the traditional way - gentle pressing and cool fermentation.
The Languedoc has come leaps and bounds over the last decade. Previously know as a region that produces inexpensive wines from a long list of international varieties, there has been a significant movement among producers to focus on more premium wines that show the true potential of the many different sites in the region.
