About this wine
We are yet to meet anyone who has a bad word to say about this delightful white Burgundy. Perfectly balanced with moreish flavours of stonefruit, vanilla, lemon and just enough oak, it is dangerously drinkable. But that's ok… we know where you can get more.
If you like a lot of bang for your buck, then this is the wine for you. The vines that yield the grapes which are in this bottle are soon to be awarded with 1er Cru status, meaning that you get top quality plonk for a very reasonable price! This wine is beautifully crafted and tastes incredible.

What Makes It So Grape?
100%
Chardonnay
Produced in Saint-Véran, France
Julien Collovray joined the family business as winemaker in 2008, having studied wine agriculture and oenology at university, as well as law and economics. Before joining his family’s domaine, he worked at vineyards in various French regions as well as in Virginia. These days he runs both the management of the vineyard and the marketing side of the business, and has set up the organic conversion of some of their vineyards.
The Domaine is among the largest and most progressive in the region, making Chardonnay of world-class quality and pushing the boundaries on the perceived limits of Mâconnais as a producer of white Burgundy. Grapes for the Saint- Véran are sourced from the oldest vines in the most prestigious vineyards of the appellation. The AOC system of wine control in France is currently contemplating giving the site where these grapes are grown Saint Veran 1er Cru status!
