About this wine
How do you know that summer is here? Well, here in the UK, the sun sometimes doesn’t make an appearance very often, but when it does, you'll be sure to see the world and his wife tucking into delicious, frosted glasses of rosé. We tasted our fair share of Provence rosés, and came to a unanimous decision that this one is the most scrumptious.
A steely whoosh of pale pink and a heady aroma of fresh strawberries and hand cut flowers escapes the glass. Crisp, fresh and tantalising. I think you can tell that we're a little bit in love. This wine is vegetarian and organic.

Sainte-Victoire is producing some seriously delicious tasting rosé. This is the region to drink if you're looking for a perfect glass of summer goodness. A slightly different blend than other Provence rosé, this favours Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. The climate has hot and dry summers with mild winters, with plenty of rainfall in autumn and spring and lots of sunshine throughout summer. The soil is poor but well-drained favouring low yield but intense fruit profile and structured wines.
Mas de Cadenet is found at the bottom of the Sainte-Victoire mountain close to Aix-en-Provence. With winemaking tracing back to the Romans, this area is steeped with history. The Negrel family acquired the estate in 1813 which has south-facing vineyards at 250m above sea level. Mas de Cadenet produces 60% rosé wines, 30% red and 10% white. Still run by the Negrel family, Guy is now in charge with the help of his children, Maud and Matthieu.
