About this wine

Delicate acidity and fresh, floral notes let you know that this is certainly Pinot Grigio, but then this develops as you taste, with a lovely oily texture that gives real body. Although this is certainly a dry wine, there are hints of honeysuckle and apricot flavours that add depth. It will remind you of a great Pinot Gris, and join you on all the best sunny afternoons.

A dinner party's best friend! This wine is the definition of a crowd pleaser, and also pairs wonderfully with a wide array of foods. If there's a lull in conversation, tell your guests they're drinking a Pinot Grigio, and that will be certain to get them talking!

San Simone are a family owned operation whose values are deeply rooted in producing wines with passion and character, in the most environmentally and socially sustainable ways. They believe that their practising of sustainable viticulture not only benefits the environment, but helps to create their unique style of wine.

Friuli Grave DOC is a fairly new appelation, established in 1970, although grapes have been grown in the area for centuries. It's located between the Julian Alps and the Adriatic Sea, and is mainly known for the production of Pinot Grigio and Friulano grapes, alongside more international varieties such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
