About this wine

Great things come in threes. We already loved the Château Bauduc Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux Supérieur, so when we got our hands on their latest rose, we were very excited. Did it live up to the hype? You bet it did!

While the red grapes at Château Bauduc are picked in the early autumn, the grapes for the rose are plucked a little early, so that the summer flavours of the wine can really shine through. It goes perfectly with all things sunshine, whether you're popping the cork at the beach, or in the garden. If it's wet outside (and this is the UK, so you can assume it will be) it goes amazingly well with spicy food.

What Makes It So Grape?

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Franc

Produced in Burgundy, France

Angela and Gavin Quinney fell for this stunning estate, not far from city of Bordeaux, and moved here from London in 1999. We don't blame them. We would do the same! The Château and winery are surrounded by almost 200 acres of woods, fields and, of course, the vineyards.

A thousand rows of vines cover a third of the land, where they grow classic Bordeaux varietals including Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Each stage of the vinification process is conducted across their vineyards and in their own winery, to ensure that their wines are always of the highest quality.
