About this wine
Concentrated flavours of ripe red and black cherry, then a spike of green peppercorn and an indulgent, rich, chocolatey fullness. Juicy, toasty and enduring.
The 2017 Massinoti Valpolicella Ripasso is created by leaving the wine in contact with the leftover grape must of the Amarone skins, resulting in the unique Ripasso style of wine. It's rich, it's powerful and it's going to knock your socks off.

Produced in Veneto, Italy
By carefully selecting the land on which to plant vineyards and by meticulously implementing agronomic practices, Massinoti has become one of the most avant-garde wineries for the production of high quality grapes. The vineyards are planted in guyot in the areas of Custoza, Bardolino and Lugana and with the classic "pergola" system in the Valpolicella Classica. These vines produce only 2-3 kg of grapes per plant and are the basis for the winery's high quality standards.
The controlled management of raw materials and the implementation of winemaking procedures using the most modern techniques to preserve the characteristics of the grapes, guarantee Massinoti's ability to produce prestigious wines.
