About this wine
Made by the talented Arnold Holzer in the Wagram region of Austria which, let's face it, is probably one of Austria's most obscure wine regions. Funky, right?
Zweigelt is a funky grape. It's light in body but loaded with flavour. Think juicy cherries, a decent amount of spice and a bit of a peppery finish, too. It's gentle but refreshing and will go smartly with a decadent charcuterie board on a Sunday afternoon.

What Makes It So Grape?
100%
Zweigelt
Produced in Wagram, Austria
Believe it or not: this wine is inspired by the gravity-defying antics of the Austrian mountain goats, the wines are light yet full of character.
The Wagram region sits on the River Danube northwest of Vienna, and is notable for its pure loess soils. Arnold Holzer tends thirteen hectares of vineyards, planted principally to native Austrian grapes.
